AUGUSTA, Ga. — The 2023 Masters completed its Moving Day on Sunday, and business most certainly picked up as the penultimate round at Augusta National Golf Club came to a close. Though Brooks Koepka entered having maintained his 18-, 36- and 54-hole lead entering Round 4 on Sunday afternoon, Jon Rahm has overtaken him more than midway through the final round as Koepka struggles to score birdies down the final stretch of this tournament.
Young Norwegian Viktor Hovland made an incredible run with five straight birdies on his second nine of the third round to sit in clear striking distance of a green jacket, but a double bogey on the 6th has pushed him back. Meanwhile, Jordan Spieth and Phil Mickelson rocketed up the leaderboard with Lefty sitting as the leader in the clubhouse at 8 under with the final pairing still on the course.
The grounds are filled to capacity with patrons for the second straight year, and anticipation to award another green jacket has reached a fever pitch. There is so much to follow this week that it can be overwhelming at times. No worries: We have you covered with a look at the Koepka vs. Rahm head-to-head battle, Tiger’s record-tying 23rd straight made cut, Woods’ subsequent withdrawal from the Masters, plus much more.
